After you download the edition and start reading, the app crashes and ends. And if you restart the iPad, your editions simply disappear. The downloads are very slow also. Im very disappointed!

The magazine is absolutely great and has a wonderful use of the interactive media of the iPad, I give it five stars. The app though, receives two for the bugs it has. I lost count of the number of times that I had to reinstall it so I could download an issue, losing all the others in the process. The download is slow no matter the internet connection, and the magazines are organized by download date, not in release date. You need patience to deal with it all.

no content on the app itself. the issue costs 3,99... not for me. now its up to you.

I am from Germany but I like English and Captain Amerika movies very much! Also reading about other Action films is very interesting! This newspaper is the best one I have ever ridden in English! Very good ! :)

Im using ipad3 and I cant open the app after the update.. And it should have fixed the "minor bugs".. Lol

App wont open. Immediately crashes. I can see the last article after double clicking home button but once app is selected it crashes.

By the way while Im bothering with a review, the content is still great, but I do miss the interactive version of the magazine, and I do not care for the way the change was handled.

A great disappointment. I hardly do reviews. This one is necessary. Pain point is that i continually need to download the issues that were downloaded a million times before into my library. Every time I check my library, it is always empty. I should have read the reviews. Great content but the app is, to say the least, well below average and needs major improvements.

This app will take you to a subscription screen. It is stated you may purchase a single digital issue, or a subscription. It should also be noted that the terms & conditions, and Privacy Policy are only available online, meaning you have to have wi-fi to access them.

Well, you know, they give you a newstand for magazines, and Im guessing all the free mags to try this are all not real, you dont get a magazine to examine, you get a screen allowing you the privilege of buying one of the magazines for about five bucks. So basically the free magazine list is a lie. So dont waste your time. FYI

This is all just a total scam! You cant search for free magazines in the App Store, because theyre all free (to download, not subscribe). What was wrong with having magazines in iBooks, or with their own apps like The Daily. Now I have this worthless icon that I cant delete and I cant even merge into another group. I HATE Newsstand!!!

gadlaw and your mom is crazy.. You two are stupid. Of course content is not free. You really think publishers are just going to give out their stuff for free. Its a "reader" app where you can subscribe inside and read issues and is the only way to subscribe. FYI all magazines in Newsstand are reader/shell apps and are all free.

But you would think the prices would be much lower considering there is no overhead for printing or mailing.

Crashes at least once a week and often requires me to re-download issues are I sync--a process that is VERY slow and cannot be done in the background (in other words, if you close the app, it stops downloading issues). Good magazine and I dont mind paying, but this one doesnt work. UPDATE: I have written to the developers twice, but NO reply and NO REFUND of my subscription. This is a complete and total rip-off and I will be contacting my credit card company to reverse the charge. BUYER BEWARE!!!
